Melissa E. Logsdon is currently the Chief Executive Officer of TST. Since joining TST in June 2008, Ms. Logsdon has worked vigorously to develop and implement Human Resources policies and procedures that provides TST with a strong yet malleable foundation. The company operations she oversees include human resources (HR), staffing, security, office management and information technologies.
Ms. Logsdon was previously the Human Resources Director for Object Sciences Corporation prior to its merger with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) in May 2005. At SAIC, she was the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources Management for the Operations, Intelligence and Security (OIS) Business Unit of the Advanced Intelligence Solutions Operation (AISO).
Ms. Logsdon has a diverse background as an HR professional including staffing, performance management, employee relations, training, compensation and benefits administration. Her significant background in human relations is complemented by her experience as a Facility Security Officer in the private sector. She completed her graduate studies in Human Resources Development at Virginia Tech after receiving a Bachelor of Science from James Madison University. She is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management, and resides in Arlington with her husband, two sons and daughter.
