Michael B. Wilson is our Director of the Program Management Office (PMO). He brings to TST nearly 35 years of program management, logistics, engineering, and contracting experience. Mr. Wilson is a strategic driver for organizational excellence. He ensures that the PMO is a source of documentation, guidance, metrics, and mentorship for Program Managers.
Immediately prior to joining TST, Mr. Wilson was the vice president responsible for contract administration and an agent of growth for a company that was honored for three consecutive years by Inc 500 as one of the fastest-growing companies in America. He was an owner and Managing Partner of a company providing executive leadership, business development, and program management consulting services to medium and small businesses. Mr. Wilson has been the Project Manager for many programs providing information technology, telecommunications, and medical services to Federal customers. He was also a Director of Business Development for a large technical services company where he targeted opportunities across the entire spectrum of information technology, logistics, and engineering.
Mr. Wilson retired from the U.S. Army in 1998 after completing a very distinguished career serving in many challenging positions. He was a logistics and engineering technical advisor to the Chief of Staff and the Secretary of the Army. He commanded one of the largest logistics depots overseas. Mr. Wilson also commanded a supply and services battalion responsible for rapid deployment of equipment to units worldwide. He was Program Manager for the Army's $1.7 billion program for electricity, natural gas, petroleum products, and alternative energy. Mr. Wilson also served as a Contracting Officer with an unlimited warrant responsible for solicitation, award, and contract administration of tactical radio and night vision programs.
Mr. Wilson earned his B.S. in Engineering from the United States Military Academy and an M.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. He is a Professional Engineer and is DoD Level III certified in Acquisition and Contracting.
