3-D UDOP: Web-based Geospatial and Visual Information Sharing
The 3-D User-Defined Operating Picture (3D UDOP) was developed for the U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM) to support Operation Unified Response following the earthquake in Haiti. Based on iSpatial®, the 3D UDOP is a unique application that allows users from all directorates, agencies, and aid groups to post information relevant to the operation in a central location. By collaborating and coordinating relief efforts, the 3D UDOP drastically improved the accuracy and timeliness of the entire response effort.
