UN-SPIDER Programme highlights the 3D UDOP's disaster relief capabilities

The UN-SPIDER Programme's Thematic Partnership for Latin America and the Caribbean will feature the 3D UDOP, based on TST's iSpatial® software platform, in a case study aimed at natural disaster mitigation in Guatemala. In this capacity, the 3D UDOP will be leveraged to enhance situational awareness of the potential impact of seismic activity and volcanic eruptions in particular areas of the country.

The case study will utilize the 3D UDOP's geospatial capabilities to display information and visualize the vulnerability of the housing sector at the municipal level, as well as hypothetical impact zones in different regions of the country.
