GEOINT 2013* Keynote: NGA Director Long Discusses Transformative GEOINT
Published on April 15, 2014
The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is at a decisive moment in its history. The agency is transforming itself from providing static products to offering a fully immersive experience where on-demand access to actionable data is paramount. In addition, intelligence integration will only succeed as long as GEOINT continues to be the foundation for the entire intelligence enterprise.
These are some of the key insights from NGA Director Letitia Long’s keynote address at GEOINT 2013*. Director Long also discussed the NGA’s Map of the World program.
As we previously highlighted, the Map of the World program is the agency’s new effort to evolve itself into a digital platform for geospatial intelligence that is both dynamic and ubiquitous.
