GEOINT 2013* Preview: Next-Generation Knowledge Fusion Capabilities to the GEOINT Community

Published on April 1, 2014

Last year certainly presented its challenges to the GEOINT Community.  The combination of the 16-day government shutdown and the ongoing impact of sequestration created some major ripples in our sector.  So much so, that the most important event for our community, GEOINT 2013, was postponed to April 2014.

Thankfully, 2013 is behind us and we are all focused on a brighter future where geospatial innovations will continue to play a vital role in our national security efforts.

Thermopylae Sciences & Technology is looking forward to attending GEOINT 2013* in Tampa, Florida, this month.  Once again, the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) will bring together the top leaders in the GEOINT community to share their insights into the future of this critical sector.  Kudos to USGIF for being nimble enough to reschedule this important event.

As originally planned, we will be showcasing the latest versions of our iSpatial, iHarvest and Ubiquity solutions, which advance government mission goals in the areas of geospatial, analytic and mobile arenas, respectively.

TST has a strong approach to building a framework for visualizing activity based intelligence (ABI) that can leverage intelligence sources and existing tools to anticipate actions and tell a story that can explain “what is happening.” We believe all data is geospatial and visualization has a direct impact on a better understanding of that data. As part of our showcase, we will be illustrating these concepts through web-based and mobile technologies and scenario-based demonstrations.

Furthermore, per our plan in October 2013, we will showcase our very popular Liquid Galaxy immersive virtual reality display that features Google Glass, Leap, and Oculus Rift. Our full and integrated product line will also be highlighted in the display.

And once again, we will be highlighting our culture of giving, where we are arranging for donations to be made to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation on behalf of our VIP guests.

Today’s government requires creative solutions that are agile and can help meet mission goals and requirements at all times. At GEOINT 2013*, we are excited to show the community how our commercial-based solutions allow defense organizations to remain effective through cutting-edge knowledge fusion capabilities in the geospatial, cloud and mobile arenas.
