
Microsatellites: Small Packages Are An Answer For Intelligence Community Relief

MilsatMagazine, a Satnews publication focusing on Defense satellite and imagery technology, today ran a piece by Thermopylae's AJ Clark, exploring the impact of micro and nanosatellites on the Intelligence Community. Though not a new phenomenon, small satellites are now becoming a more ubiquitous delivery vehicle for sensors and technology at a continuously decreasing cost. But microsats are not all upside--with more sensors comes more data, a problem that is only compounded by increased use of more and more satellites.
