Thermopylae Sciences + Technology Employees Support The Navy Yard Relief Fund

Today Thermopylae Sciences + Technology announced an employee grant matching program to support The Navy Yard Relief Fund. The Fund created by the The Community Foundation for the National Capital Region was developed as a vehicle to channel donations in the wake of this terrible tragedy. As stated by Community Foundation President Terry Freeman, "The Navy Yard Relief Fund will support the victims' families and those injured in the attack. This fund will provide direct support where it is most urgently needed in the short-term to assist our neighbors as they heal." Most importantly - 100% of contributions to the fund will support the victims' families and those injured. Mike Cachine SVP of thermopylaeCARES, Thermopylae's corporate social responsibility initiative said "we have an amazing culture of philanthropy here at Thermopylae and our staff is very responsive to assisting those in a time of crisis". The response to the matching program has been fantastic and it will be in affect through the month of September, already over $2,000 has been raised."
