Thermopylae Sciences + Technology Launches Teams Google Apps For Charity Challenge

ARLINGTON, VA - Thermopylae Sciences + Technology launched a new Google Apps web application that allows company employee's to share with co-workers the non-profit organizations they are passionate about. All employees were invited to participate in the challenge which took place from October 15th - 18th and in the end 45 charities received donations from thermopylaeCARES the company's social responsibility initiative in honor of the employee who recommended them.

The application called "Teams" was developed by Thermopylae software engineers using Google's cloud computing platform, Google App Engine.  The Teams web app was designed to fully integrate with Thermopylae's Google Apps for Business platform and offers employee's anywhere, anytime and from any device, secure access to enterprise organizational data.

Mike Cachine, Thermopylae's CIO and SVP thermopylaeCARES said "The Teams challenge really exceeded our expectations. We identified 45 non-profits important to our team members and these great causes were shared throughout the company for the first time using innovative technology that we developed in-house.
