
Thermopylae Sciences + Technology Participates in Freedom Walk 2013

Today employee's from Thermopylae Sciences + Technology joined hundreds of participants from around the region to commemorate the events of 9/11 as part of Operation Homefront DC Metro - Freedom Walk 2013. Starting at the entrance of Arlington National Cemetary in Arlington, VA - Freedom Walk is a 2.2 mile walk through the cemetery with a stop at the 9/11 Memorial and consisted of a brief program at the Cemetery Coliseum and concluded with a wreath laying at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The purpose of this event is simply to honor those that have made the ultimate sacrifice as well as service members and veterans. Partiicipants renew their commitment to freedom and the values of our country and reflect on the events of September 11th together. Thermopylae employee Adriana Babic who attended the event said, "it was a wonderful experience and a very emotional setting as we walked through the cemetery honoring those that have given the ultimate sacrifice for this country and certainly reflecting the tragic events of that day. The speakers were amazing and I really enjoyed being a part of this touching ceremony."
