As Chief Technology Officer, Andres Terrazas is responsible for enterprise and commercial product development, emerging technologies, technical professional services and solutions, infrastructure, and the overall engineering culture at Thermopylae Sciences & Technology. Mr. Terrazas focuses on developing products and custom solutions that solve inherently difficult problem sets for Thermopylae customers.

During his tenure at TST Mr. Terrazas, has both led and implemented numerous software systems, using a wide range of technologies for various Federal customer projects with great success. He has supported enterprise projects with USSOUTHCOM, DI2E, DIA, and emergency humanitarian assistance/disaster recovery (HA/DR) initiatives during the 2010 Haiti Earthquake. Mr. Terrazas performed several roles within the software development lifecycle to deliver value-add software solutions to the Department of Defense, using the latest technologies and best engineering practices to improve intelligence analyst productivity, effectiveness, and most importantly meet a government-wide mandate of increased data collaboration.

Andres has over 13 years of software development experience. Prior to joining TST, Mr. Terrazas held various software engineering positions with companies serving both the Federal and commercial sectors. His previous positions include roles at Computer Sciences Corporation, Harris Corporation, DataMark, and the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory. His experience includes delivering software solutions and products to the Department of Justice, Department of Defense, NASA, other Federal agencies, and Fortune 500 clients.

Mr. Terrazas received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Information Technology from The University of Texas at El Paso. He also holds an MBA from the University of Florida, Hough Graduate School of Business. Mr. Terrazas holds various certifications in Agile software development and security. He holds an Advanced Computer Security Certificate from Stanford University and is a certified Professional Scrum Master.
